Research Interests:

Bacterial Pathogenesis, Multiple Drug Resistance in bacteria.

Research Projects:
  • Molecular analysis of the large multidrug resistant CMY2 plasmids present in Salmonella species isolated from both humans and animal gut.

  • Role of the large plasmids in the virulence of Salmonella species.

  • Determining the role of integrons and genomic islands in the spread of antibiotic resistance in Salmonella species.
