Marian University's Ancilla College offers a wide variety of scholarships to help you achieve your dreams!

Students applying for Marian University's Ancilla College Scholarships must submit a FAFSA form.

Please note the deadlines for scholarships. Applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed for an award.

An applicant must be a full-time student to receive these scholarships.

Awards and dollar amounts are subject to change.

 

Ancilla Valedictorian & Salutatorian Scholarship

Graduating at the top of your class often means being honored by your high school. Marian University's Ancilla College will do quite a bit more to honor your accomplishment.

Marian University's Ancilla College offers full tuition scholarships to valedictorians. Graduates in the very top of their class can receive a scholarship of free full-time tuition, scholarship is renewable for one year.

Students named as salutatorians by their high school will be offered up to $10,000 toward full-time enrollment at Marian University's Ancilla College, the scholarship is renewable for one year.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must complete the scholarship application and provide verification of valedictorian or salutatorian status.
  • Applicant must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.
  • Scholar must be a full-time student and retain a 3.0 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater to renew the scholarship.
  • Application deadline, August 15th

Autism Program Scholarship

The Autism Program Scholarship is awarded in amounts up to $2,000, which will be applied to fees for the forthcoming academic year. If awarded, half of the total amount will be applied to Fall semester and half to Spring semester balances.

Applicants must submit a minimum 200 word typed essay to be included with the scholarship application form. The essay should respond to all the following applicant questions:

  • List why you chose to attend Marian University's Ancilla College.
  • What career field do you want to enter after school, and why?
  • Explain why your chosen degree and career field is important in today’s society?

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be accepted into the Autism Program at Marian University's Ancilla College.
  • Applicant must complete the Autism Program Scholarship application and essay.
  • Applicant must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Scholar must remain a full-time student and retain a 2.5 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater to renew the scholarship.

Catholic Campus Ministry Scholarship

The Catholic Scholarship is open to high school graduates and transfer students who are active members of the Catholic Church. Marian University's Ancilla College seeks students who are passionate about their faith, motivated to share it with others, and desire to grow as effective leaders amongst their peers. The scholarship award is an annual $1,000 and is renewable for one additional year.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must complete the scholarship application and provide parish support letter.
  • Applicant must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Scholar must remain a full-time student and retain a 2.5 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater to renew the scholarship.
  • Application deadline August 15

Scholar Dollars Program

The Marian University's Ancilla College Scholar Dollar program offers up to a $1000 per semester award for qualified candidates. The award is based on a combination of financial need, scholastic achievement, service hours, and career goals. To receive the maximum award, successful candidates will complete a total of 85 service hours in an approved campus position.

Interested applicants are to submit a 200 word essay describing career aspirations and how service will contribute to achieving professional goals. Applicants must be a fulltime student and maintain a 2.85 GPA or higher.

  • Complete the scholarship application
  • Schedule an interview with Director of the Exchange

Potential service opportunities include: Athletics, Business and Financial Aid Office, Front Desk reception, Career Services, Library and Learning Commons, Advancement, and Student Activities.

REAch Scholarship

The Rewarding Excellent Achievements (REAch) Scholarship can be obtained by any high school graduate under the age of 21 (prior to the start of class this coming fall semester) and who has not already obtained more than 12 college credits. The Reach Scholarship is designed to support students who have worked to achieve academic success in high school and seek a college degree as part of their educational journey.

The Reach Scholarship is not affected by financial need and is available to any incoming student who meets the criteria below and is a full-time student.

The scholarship is renewable for every year the student remains in full time status and retains a 2.5 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater. Applicants must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.

Requirements:

GPA of 3.70 and up $7,000
GPA of 3.30 to 3.69 $6,500
GPA of 3.00 to 3.29 $6,000

Student Success Scholarship

The College Success Scholarship supports students who have struggled academically, but desire to earn a college degree. The Scholarship is open to non-student-athletes, based on high school GPA.

The scholarship is renewable for every year the student remains in full-time status and retains a 2.5 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater. Applicants must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.

Requirements:

GPA of 2.75 to 2.99 $5,000
GPA of 2.50 to 2.74 $4,000
GPA of 2.00 to 2.49 $3,000

Transfer Scholarship

The Transfer Scholarship is designed to help students who want to transfer to Marian University's Ancilla College.

The transfer scholarship is designed to encourage you to continue your education at Marian University's Ancilla College after attending another college or university. It’s available to you if you have not earned a college degree, but attempted more than 12 credit hours at any college or university.

The scholarship is renewable for up to four semesters and the student must retain a 2.5 Marian University's Ancilla College GPA or greater. Applicants must submit a FASFA with the admission application to Marian University's Ancilla College.

The Transfer Scholarship award amount is based on your earned GPA at previous schools and full-time enrollment.

Requirements:

3.50 to 4.00 $4,000
3.00 to 3.49 $3,000
2.50 to 2.99 $2,000
2.00 to 2.49 $1,500

On July 1, 2021, Marian University has officially opened a new location on the former campus of Ancilla College in Plymouth, Indiana. In recognition of the shared missions and solely to honor the history of Ancilla College, the new location is named Marian University's Ancilla College.
