Each year, the Marian University Founders Classic honors a special individual who has helped make the university what it is today. This year’s event honors Jack Snyder, chairman emeritus of the Marian University Board of Trustees and the foundresses of Marian University, the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, Indiana.

"Receiving a Marian athletic scholarship meant that all my years of hard work paid off. Not only was I able to continue to play the sport I love in college, but alongside it I was able to further my education. This opportunity put me in a position to chase after dreams bigger than those I had on the field."
